The R4D Woody Weeds Project
This project is implemented by the CABI Switzerland, in collaboration with Swiss, Ethiopian, Kenyan, Tanzanian and South African research organizations. It is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC).
Wyss Academy for Nature
CETRAD will continue to implement on behalf of the Wyss Academy for Nature activities within the three main functions namely: Establishing the knowledge base for transformations ii) Designing incubators (schemes for innovative solutions) Launching science policy-society interfaces.
BIA
This project was launched in June 2009 by a consortium of European, African and Central American academic institutions. The BIA project investigated the opportunities and risks related to the production and utilization of biofuels in East Africa and in Central America.

Water Sector Trust Fund, under the support of the Governments of Kenya and Denmark is implementing the Green Growth and Employment Programme (GGEP) to support access to and management of water resources in the Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs).
KCEP-CRAL EASTERN REGION GIS/RS BACK STOPPING WORKSHOP
CETRAD has been capacity building the County staff on GIS and Remote Sensing through training and establishment of two GIS/RS stations at each of the eight-county headquarters where KCEP-CRAL is being implemented.
